On August 26^th, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that it was proposing a new rule to allow some international entrepreneurs to apply for “parole,” which gives temporary permission to be in the United States to allow them to start or develop businesses in the United States. The purpose of the proposed rule is to aid entrepreneurship, innovation, and job creation in the United States.

For anyone who’s not an immigration lawyer, the U.S. Immigration Process might appear to be simple: come in legally, file the forms you need to file to get what you want. Read the instructions on the USCIS website. Wait for the answer. Get the approval for what you want and move on.
